Melissa Robbins
Master Level Addiction Counselor
With over 15 years of experience as a Master Addiction Counselor—and a background as a Firefighter and Medic—Melissa brings a unique perspective to addiction recovery and trauma therapy. Having witnessed firsthand the impact of acute, high-level trauma, she is deeply committed to helping individuals process their experiences and reclaim their lives.
Melissa specializes in trauma-focused therapy and believes in the transformative power of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She has worked extensively with first responders, EMS, police officers, and others in high-stress professions, guiding them through the emotional weight of their work and the challenges that come with it.
Her approach is both empathetic and solution-focused, providing a safe, structured space for individuals to work through trauma, develop resilience, and build a foundation for long-term healing. With her deep understanding of crisis intervention and recovery, Melissa is a dedicated ally for those navigating addiction, PTSD, and trauma-related challenges.

LPC Intern
Kelci is currently completing her internship at Oakvine Recovery Center as part of her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at St. Edward’s University. With a client-centered approach, she is committed to creating a calm, supportive space where individuals feel safe to process their emotions, navigate challenges, and grow at their own pace.
Kelci integrates mindfulness techniques throughout treatment, helping clients develop self-awareness, emotional regulation, and resilience as they work toward healing. Her warm and grounded presence allows her to meet each client where they are, ensuring they feel truly heard and supported.

Jessica Jones
Intern
Originally from Boardman, OH, Jessica is a former Division I student-athlete, having played indoor volleyball for Ohio University and Florida International University before continuing her career as a professional beach volleyball player on U.S. tours.
Now pursuing her graduate degree at St. Edward’s University in Austin, TX, Jessica is working toward becoming a licensed professional counselor. She is also the author of Mommy, Will You Rub My Feet?, a children’s book about growing pains.
Jessica’s therapeutic approach is rooted in the belief that every person has a unique story and deserves to be truly heard and unconditionally supported.
Outside of her work and studies, she loves spending time with her children, traveling, and exploring bookstores across the country.
